Future shades Russell Wilson’s marriage to his ex, Ciara: “He do exactly what she tell him to do”

ABC/Randy HolmesAhead of the release of his new album The WIZRD, Future appeared on Apple Music’s Beats 1 for a candid interview in which he detailed the concept behind the project.  But things got tense when the subject of his former fiance Ciara, and her current husband Russell Wilson became a subject of interest.

“[Wilson] do exactly what she tell him to do,” the Atlanta phenom said. “I feel like he not being a man in that position. He not tellin’ her, ‘Chill out with that on the Internet. Don’t even talk to [Future]. I’m your husband! You better not even bring Future’s name up!’”

Future claimed that if he was still with Ciara, he would forbid her from ever mentioning an ex’s name.

“If that was me, she couldn’t even bring his name up,” he added. “She know that. She couldn’t even bring her ex’s names up. I don’t care what they gave you… Don’t bring their names up in an interview! No! Don’t give that s**t no energy. It’s about me, whatever, I’m taking care of everything, I’m a thousand percent.”

Elsewhere in the interview, the “Crushed Up” lyricist claims that Ciara introduced their child, Future Jr., to Wilson before the rapper had an opportunity to meet the Seahawks quarterback himself.

He also alleges that Ciara agreed to arrange a meeting between Future and Wilson only after her and Wilson had wed. But, Future says the “damage” was already done. 

It’s no secret that Future and Ciara had a less-than-amicable split. The former couple has taken shots at each other via social media, in the press and most notably in the courtroom as they attempt to resolve the custody battle over their 4-year-old son.
