ABC/Image Group LACardi B is gearing up for a prosperous 2019. And, her first order of business is gifting fans with a new album.

Tuesday night, the “Money” breakout star announced her plans to release a sophomore project via an Instagram Live session. “Of course it’s gonna be an album in 2019,” Cardi confirmed with fans tuned in to the video chat. “Hopefully I could get my album done around the same time that Invasion of Privacy came out, but I don’t know how possible that’s going to be because I feel like I’m going to be extremely, extremely busy.”

The Bronx-bred native’s debut album, which arrived in April 2018, went no. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart twice, and earned five Grammy nominations. In addition, 13 songs on the project also attained platinum or gold status by the RIAA, late last year.

In the meantime, however, Cardi is reportedly slated to drop a deluxe version of Invasion of Privacy at some point during 2019.
