Ye Says He's Running For President

Kanye West is planning to run for president again.
The musician, who has legally changed his name to Ye, ran for office in 2020 but conceded his run after winning just 50-thousand votes and failing to make the ballot in several states.
In a video circulating on Twitter Sunday, Ye said he’s enlisting the services of the far-right Milo Yiannopoulos to help with his campaign.
The cameraman then asks the 45-year-old rapper if he is officially running for president and Ye said, “Yes. It’s simple ’cause ain’t nobody can tell me, you know, ‘you should say this, you shouldn’t say that,’ you know? It’s just we’re moving towards the future.”

Kanye West is starting his run for president with an affordable clothing line. West showcased the new collection and confirmed that alt-right political commentator Milo Yiannopoulos would be running his campaign.
Kanye tells blog site X17 that he will be selling his “Ye 24” apparel for $20, and the line will include hoodies and sweatpants.
The clothing, Kanye says, is “cut” from clothing used in his partnerships with Balenciaga, Gap, and Adidas.
“We need to make sure that everyone can receive the same level of cuts, the same level of food, the same level of water, the same level of education…we’re getting past the past. We’re focused on the future,” said Kanye.

Ye Takes Swipe At Donald Trump In First 2024 Presidential Campaign Video
Ye, formally Kanye West, posted a video on Thursday (November 25) that outlined a meeting with Donald Trump. During the meeting, Ye asked the former president to be his running mate for 2024.
“I think the thing Trump was most perturbed about [was] me asking him to be my vice president,” Ye said in the video. “I think that was lower on the list of things that caught him off guard.”
Ye also criticized Trump for not legally protecting people who invaded the U.S. Capitol Building on January 6, 2021.
Ye then claimed Trump “started basically screaming at me at the table, telling me I am going to lose.” He then joked, “Has that worked for anyone in history?”
