  • The musician, who has legally changed his name to Ye, ran for office in 2020 but conceded his run after winning just 50-thousand votes and failing to make the ballot in several states.
  • In a video circulating on Twitter Sunday, Ye said he’s enlisting the services of the far-right Milo Yiannopoulos to help with his campaign.

  • Ye, formally Kanye West, posted a video on Thursday (November 25) that outlined a meeting with Donald Trump. During the meeting, Ye asked the former president to be his running mate for 2024.
  • “I think the thing Trump was most perturbed about [was] me asking him to be my vice president,” Ye said in the video. “I think that was lower on the list of things that caught him off guard.”
  • Ye also criticized Trump for not legally protecting people who invaded the U.S. Capitol Building on January 6, 2021.
