Screen Time Cut For Jussie Smollet On Empire

Weeks ago, Smollet was allegedly “jumped” by men in Chicago. Since then brothers from Nigeria have been arrested and released. The latest news is that Smollet himself orchestrated the attack and paid the brothers to do it. We have yet to find out the whole truth but that doesn’t seem to matter much; people are making their own assumptions regarding what happened, and it’s obviously having an adverse effect on the Empire star. “Production sources tell TMZ … Jussie was supposed to have 9 scenes and a big musical number in the second to the last episode — which is being shot now —  but, 5 of his scenes have been cut, and his musical number has been 86’d.” – TMZ
