R. Kelly Bond Denied, Not Guilty Plea Entered

R. Kelly was arrested last week on 2 federal incitements. Today, Kelly showed up in court shackled and wearing an orange jumpsuit. During the court proceedings Kelly’s lawyer argued that he wasn’t a flight risk. He went on to say that Kelly had already surrendered his passport, and had showed up for all court hearings during his 2008 trial. The prosecutor argued that Kelly was a danger to the community, specifically young girls. The judge must’ve agreed with the prosecutor because R. Kelly is still incarcerated, and his bail was denied.
