Metro Boomin & Hitmaka Replied To Hit-Boy’s Disses
  • Hit-Boy recently previewed a new track where he is taking shots at Metro Boomin, Hitmaka, and more producers in a Kendrick Lamar-inspired ‘Control’ verse.
  • Now, Metro Boomin and Hitmaka have reacted to the track.
  • Metro Boomin reacted on Twitter by posting Kendrick’s lyrics, “Stop playin’ with me ‘fore I turn you to a song.”
  • Hitmaka added online, “All I said was he ain’t making radio/mainstream s**t, and he dissed us on a beat that won’t never touch mainstream or radio. Solidified my statement.”
  • Why do you respect an artist more when he or she responds to beef via music versus social media?

  • Jim Jones recently requested for Hit-Boy and Hitmaka to do a Verzuz battle after their recent back and forth.
  • Hit-Boy recently took shots at Hitmaka and other producers on a track called ‘Slipping into Darkness.’
  • Hitmaka said about the track, “I already did it, but it’s just like, look…I’m an executive, right? So, that’s not my plight. He’s trying to become a respected rapper. I already have multiple plaques. I’ve sold 10 million records as a rapper before.”
  • He continued, “Look, this what I was really saying. And I’m gonna say it better so he’s not upset and throwing a hissy fit and doing his producer ‘Control’ rap or whatever over beats that’ll never be on the radio like I explained before.”
  • Jim Jones added during the interview, “I told you how we could settle this bit. A Verzuz, a pass-the-aux Verzuz, all hits. Let’s see who got the most hits out there. F**k the rapping, let’s get to the hits. We ain’t gotta rap a bar, you heard?”
  • Who do you think would win in this proposed Verzuz battle?
