Megan Thee Stallion Goes to Court, Alleges Her Label 1501 is Blocking Release of ‘Butter’ Remix

Megan Thee Stallion is battling her record label, 1501 again in court after being blocked from releasing her remix of BTS’ “Butter.” Megan believes the remix will help her expand her brand internationally, while label head, former MLB star Carl Crawford, thinks it’s a bad move for the H-Town Hottie. It’s not the first time the “Thot-ish” rapper felt her label was keeping her from releasing music. Last year Megan got a court order to prohibit her label from blocking new music releases, she says 1501 is violating that order. The “Butter” remix is due out on Friday (August 27th) and BTS is already promoting the song, however, it’ll come down to what the court decides.  Do you think Megan teaming with BTS will expand her brand internationally in a successful way?
