Keyshia Cole slams her estranged husband’s legal team for halting divorce proceedings

Keyshia Cole is ready to close the chapter on her relationship with estranged husband, Daniel ‘Booby’ Gibson, but she says it’s Gibson who’s making that difficult.

Over the weekend, the “Love” singer addressed reports that alleged her divorce from Gibson would be thrown out of court if she didn’t finalize the proceedings. Neither party has yet to come to an agreement on the terms of their divorce since October 2017.

“I would love to move forward with the divorce,” Cole wrote on Instagram , as captured by The Shade Room. “His LAWYER needs to change his positioning in legal documents.”

“I am not giving him full custody nor no damn spousal support! And I’ve asked him over and over to do so, the ball is in his court,” she added.

Cole also accused her former spouse of not doing “things the right way.”

Back in September 2017, the Love and Hip-Hop star filed for divorce from Gibson, citing irreconcilable differences. The former couple had been separated since October 2014 at the time.

Cole and Gibson tied the knot in May 2011, but their marriage crumbled shortly after the former NBA player allegedly cheated on his wife with another woman.
