Kehlani is set to debut her new single, “Nights Like This,” featuring Ty Dolla $ign, on Thursday.

All week long, the Grammy-nominated singer has teased the arrival of her latest effort via social media. Wednesday, she shared on Instagram that the single would premiere exclusively on Zane Lowe‘s Beats 1 show as the “world record.”

Along with teasing the track’s title, Kehlani shared a handful of photos that appear to be from the song’s accompanying video, which will also be released today. The images find Kehlani in a lab coat working on what appears to be a robot of sorts.

Fans have already begun speculating about the premise behind the visual, with one tweeting that the video would be centered around Kehlani crafting the perfect lover. However, Kehlani dismissed the claim, tweeting in response: “Nope … I was just being nice … theory is sweet tho.”

“Nights Like This” arrives two years after Kehlani’s debut studio album, SweetSexySavage.
