Da La Soul not feeling the LOVE!!

So let’s take a trip down memory lane 30 years (can’t believe it’s been that long) to De La Soul 1st classic album: 3 Feet High and Raising. I remember having the tape and the time of hip-hop they brought some totally different sound and rhyme. Not that many people really rocked with them when they first came out but by the time their 2nd album dropped when simply couldn’t get ignored. Back then we only had tapes and records to rock our favorite hip-hop joints to now in this digital era when you can just about stream music on your cell phone.

For the longest time De La Soul back catalog wasn’t available on any streaming platforms. A deal was finally reached with Tommy Boy to make that happen but it came with a heavy price. Watch this interview to hear the full story:
