ABC/Randy HolmesChris Brown, a man identified as his bodyguard, and another man were arrested in Paris for “aggravated rape and drug-related infractions,” according to a French judical source.

Brown, 29, was detained Monday and remained in custody Tuesday; prosecutors have two more days to decide whether to charge the men or free them.

The controversial singer’s publicists at Sony Music would not comment on the situation to ABC News.

In 2015, Brown completed his probation stemming from the 2009 felony assault of his then-girlfriend, Rihanna, however, he’s been in trouble with the law since.

In 2016, he was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, and in 2018, he was busted on a felony battery charge.
