Cardi B Reveals She Wanted Lizzo To Be In The ‘WAP’ Video

During a recent interview, Cardi B revealed there was another woman she wanted for the WAP video.

Cardi says in addition to Normani, Rosalia, Rubi Rose, Sukihana, Mulatto, and Kylie Jenner, and of course Megan Thee Stallion, Cardi also wanted Lizzo for her controversial video.

Cardi and Lizzo have been cool since they appeared in Jennifer Lopez’s “Hustlers” movie. Cardi says she and Lizzo often DM each other but during the filming of WAP in North Hollywood Lizzo was on vacation.

“…she wasn’t in town. I was like, oh my gosh,” said Cardi during the interview, “I had a whole vision about how I wanted to see Lizzo and everything. ‘But she was on vacation.” Lizzo was on vacation with friends in Palm Desert, California at the time but wouldn’t it have been great to see Lizzo in the WAP video?
