Bobby Shmurda Curses Out Producers for Charging Too Much for Beats

Bobby Shmurda was spittin’ mad (literally) as producers were trying to charge the “Hot Boy” between $8 and $10,000 per beat.

Bobby says producers’ prices are high due to multiple writers on the track, but he says that doesn’t justify the producer’s high prices.

According to TMZ Hip-Hop, Bobby is working on his EP and as an independent artist is responsible for taking care of the business himself. He currently has features with Quavo, Rowdy Rebel, Fivio Foreign.

Bobby Shmurda hopped on social media and ranted about music producers.

He said, these producers is giving me the hardest time right now. I’ve never seen no sh– like this before.

He said producers are asking for $8k-$10k a song from him.

Another producer, Cardo who has also worked with Drake, Travis Scott’s Goosebumps and Baby Keems, Family Ties tweeted, rappers saying producers overpricing their beats shows you we don’t get any respect in this sh–. Y’all n– weird.

He added, we HAVE to make y’all n– pay us more every time cuz y’all be tryna offer 2500 for a beat. I gotta let it off one time.

He concluded by saying some producers end up having to settle for the $2500 because the producer has a family to feed.
