Artists And Celebrities Support Police Reform Bill

Many artists and celebrities have signed a letter of support for a bill on police reform. The George Floyd Justice In Policing Act is being discussed in the House of Representatives and stars have lined up to get behind it. Rihanna, Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande, Lizzo, Justin Bieber, Mariah Carey, and Post Malone are just a few who have signed the letter. The endorsement says, “We in the music and entertainment communities believe that Black lives matter and have long decried the injustices endured by generations of Black citizens. We are more determined than ever to push for federal, state, and local law enforcement programs that truly serve their communities.” Do you believe that there will finally be some actionable police reform set forth by the government?
