- 50 Cent apparently had an interest in signing Chingy at one point and in making him the head of G-Unit South.
- HipHopDX caught up with Chingy and during the conversation, the rapper made a major revelation about his relationship with 50 Cent.
- According to Chingy, their friendship had grown during the 2004 ‘Roc The Mic’ tour, which led to the rapper allegedly wanting to sign him to G-Unit and appoint him as president of the label’s southern division, but the deal did not go through.
- “He wanted me to sing with G-Unit,” he said. “But it didn’t happen. I think it was me and Young Buck he wanted to like make [us] presidents of G-Unit South.”
- Who would you like to see Chingy collaborate with next, and why them?
